William Henry John North, 11th Baron North was born on 5 October 1836.1 He was the son of Colonel Rt. Hon. John Sydney North and Susan North, Baroness North.1 He married Frederica Cockerell, daughter of Commander Richard Howe Cockerell and Theresa Newcomen, on 12 January 1858.1 He died on 8 April 1932 at age 95.1

Colonel Rt. Hon. John Sydney North was born on 28 May 1804.2 He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Sir Charles William Doyle and Sophia Cramer Coghill.2,3 He married Susan North, Baroness North, daughter of George Augustus North, 3rd Earl of Guilford and Susan Coutts, on 18 November 1835.1,2 He died on 11 October 1894 at age 90.2
He was given the name of John Sydney Doyle at birth.2 On 20 August 1838 his name was legally changed to John Sydney North by Royal Licence.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the 2nd Volunteer Battalion, Oxfordshire Light Infantry.4 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Oxfordshire between 1852 and 1855.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)4 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1886.2

Susan North, Baroness North was born on 6 February 1797.2 She was the daughter of George Augustus North, 3rd Earl of Guilford and Susan Coutts.2 She married Colonel Rt. Hon. Henry Stafford Northcote, 1st and last Baron Northcote was born on 18 November 1846.1 He was the son of Stafford Henry Northcote, 1st Earl of Iddesleigh and Cecilia Frances Farrer.1,2 He married Alice Stephen, daughter of George Stephen, 1st Baron Mount Stephen and Charlotte Annie Kane, on 2 October 1873.1 He died on 29 September 1911 at age 64.1
