Francis Dacres Byng1

     Francis Dacres Byng was born on 7 July 1880.1 He was the son of Hon. Sydney Byng and Annie Sebright Chellingworth.1 He married Catherine Russell, daughter of Charles Arthur Russell, in 1915.2 He died on 3 September 1916 at age 36 at FranceG, killed in action.1
     He fought in the First World War. He gained the rank of Captain in the Rifle Brigade.2

     Catherine Russell is the daughter of Charles Arthur Russell.2 She married Francis Dacres Byng, son of Hon. Sydney Byng and Annie Sebright Chellingworth, in 1915.3 She died in 1965.3
     From 1915, her married name became Byng.1

     He fought in the Second World War.3 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Artillery.3
