     Leslie George de Rune Barclay was born on 3 October 1879.¹ He was the son of Henry Thomas de Rune Barclay and Ellen Eliza Henley.¹ He married Dorothea Griffith, daughter of Reverend Charles Herbert Griffith and Edith Anne Sergeant, on 15 June 1926.¹ He died on 1 February 1965 at age 85.¹
     He fought in the Boer War.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Ulster Rifles.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹

     Dorothea Griffith was born circa 1899.² She was the daughter of Reverend Charles Herbert Griffith and Edith Anne Sergeant.^1,2 She married Leslie George de Rune Barclay, son of Henry Thomas de Rune Barclay and Ellen Eliza Henley, on 15 June 1926.¹ She died in 1971.¹
     From 15 June 1926, her married name became Barclay.¹ She wrote the book John and the Lustre Jug, published 1947.²

     Reverend Charles Herbert Griffith was born circa 1859.² He was the son of Reverend Charles Marshall Griffith and Sarah-Anna Ingram.² He married Edith Anne Sergeant, daughter of Reverend Oswald Pattison Sergeant and Emily Bridges Faithfull, in 1890.² He died between 1928 and 1937.²
     He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was the Vicar in 1926 at St. Michael's Church, Folkestone, Kent, England^G.¹
