     Sir John Byron Fraser Austin, 3rd Bt. was born on 14 July 1897.¹ He was the son of Sir William Michael Byron Austin, 2nd Bt. and Violet Irene Fraser.¹ He married, firstly, Sheila Jean McNaught, daughter of Duncan McNaught, on 10 June 1953.¹ He and Sheila Jean McNaught were divorced in 1958.¹ He married, secondly, Rhoda Noreen Pinches, daughter of Herbert Lloyd Pinches, on 25 March 1960.¹ He died on 23 September 1981 at age 84.^1,2
     He was educated at Downside School, Bath, Somerset, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Flight Commander in the Royal Flying Corps.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War, in the King's African Rifles in Tanganykia and Burnma, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Austin, of Red Hill, Castleford, West Riding of Yorks [U.K., 1894] on 13 November 1940.¹

     From 20 February 1926, her married name became Austin.¹

     Leonard Arthur Bidwell married Dorothea Parkington, daughter of Sir John Roper Parkington.

     He was educated at Downside School, Bath, Somerset, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War, in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve.¹ He was Master of Foxhounds, Braes of Derwent.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Austin, of Red Hill, Castleford, West Riding of Yorks [U.K., 1894] in 1989.¹
