Sir John Byron Fraser Austin, 3rd Bt.1

     Sir John Byron Fraser Austin, 3rd Bt. was born on 14 July 1897.1 He was the son of Sir William Michael Byron Austin, 2nd Bt. and Violet Irene Fraser.1 He married, firstly, Sheila Jean McNaught, daughter of Duncan McNaught, on 10 June 1953.1 He and Sheila Jean McNaught were divorced in 1958.1 He married, secondly, Rhoda Noreen Pinches, daughter of Herbert Lloyd Pinches, on 25 March 1960.1 He died on 23 September 1981 at age 84.1,2
     He was educated at Downside School, Bath, Somerset, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Flight Commander in the Royal Flying Corps.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Second World War, in the King's African Rifles in Tanganykia and Burnma, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Austin, of Red Hill, Castleford, West Riding of Yorks [U.K., 1894] on 13 November 1940.1

     Sheila Jean McNaught was born in 1913.2 She was the daughter of Duncan McNaught.1 She married, firstly, Colonel Harry Carlisle Boyce.1 She married, secondly, Sir John Byron Fraser Austin, 3rd Bt., son of Sir William Michael Byron Austin, 2nd Bt. and Violet Irene Fraser, on 10 June 1953.1 She and Sir John Byron Fraser Austin, 3rd Bt. were divorced in 1958.1 She died in 2002.2
     Her married name became Boyce.1 From 10 June 1953, her married name became Austin.1

     Colonel Harry Carlisle Boyce was born in 1902.2 He married Sheila Jean McNaught, daughter of Duncan McNaught.1 He died in 1988.2
     He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Artillery.1

     Rhoda Noreen Pinches was born on 14 July 1913 at IndiaG.2 She was the daughter of Herbert Lloyd Pinches.1 She married, firstly, Colonel Charles Vincent Douglas Rose on 25 July 1936 at Parish Church of St. Peter with St. Thomas, Surrey, EnglandG.1,3,2 She married, secondly, Sir John Byron Fraser Austin, 3rd Bt., son of Sir William Michael Byron Austin, 2nd Bt. and Violet Irene Fraser, on 25 March 1960.1 She died on 14 November 2003 at age 90.4
     Rhoda Noreen Pinches usually went by her middle name of Noreen.2 From 25 July 1936, her married name became Rose.1 From 25 March 1960, her married name became Austin.1

     Colonel Charles Vincent Douglas Rose was born on 2 November 1897 at Southport, Lancashire, EnglandG.2 He married Rhoda Noreen Pinches, daughter of Herbert Lloyd Pinches, on 25 July 1936 at Parish Church of St. Peter with St. Thomas, Surrey, EnglandG.1,2,3 He died on 1 January 1960 at age 62 at Herefordshire, England.1,4

     Dorothy Mary Bidwell was the daughter of Leonard Arthur Bidwell and Dorothea Parkington.1 She married Sir William Ronald Fraser Austin, 4th Bt., son of Sir William Michael Byron Austin, 2nd Bt. and Violet Irene Fraser, on 20 February 1926.1 She died on 10 July 1957.1
     From 20 February 1926, her married name became Austin.1

     Sir Michael Trescawen Austin, 5th Bt. was born on 27 August 1927.1 He was the son of Sir William Ronald Fraser Austin, 4th Bt. and Dorothy Mary Bidwell.1 He married Bridget Dorothea Patricia Farrell, daughter of Francis Farrell, on 30 January 1951.1 He died on 3 August 1995 at age 67.1
     He was educated at Downside School, Bath, Somerset, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Second World War, in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve.1 He was Master of Foxhounds, Braes of Derwent.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Austin, of Red Hill, Castleford, West Riding of Yorks [U.K., 1894] in 1989.1
