Captain Holt Waring1

     Captain Holt Waring was born on 26 May 1877 at Waringstown, County Down, Ireland.2 He was the son of Major Thomas Waring and Fanny Tucker.2 He married Margaret Combs.2 He died on 15 February 1918 at age 40 at Ypres, Belgium, killed in action.2
     He lived at Lisnacree House, County Down, IrelandG.1 He gained the rank of Captain on 6 February 1907 in the 88th Connaught Rangers.2 He gained the rank of Major on 12 December 1915.2 He fought in the First World War.2

     Sir James Alexander Lawson Duncan, 1st and last Bt. was born in 1899.2 He was the son of Alexander Duncan.3 He married, firstly, Adrienne St. Quintin, daughter of William Brandon St. Quintin.2 He married, secondly, Beatrice Mary Carroll, daughter of Thomas Laurence Carroll and Susan Waring, on 1 August 1966.1 He died on 30 September 1974 at Alyth, Perthshire, Scotland.1,2
     He was educated at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Essex, England.3 He gained the rank of officer in the Scots Guards.3 He fought in the First World War between 1917 and 1920.3 He held the office of Member of London City Council between 1925 and 1928.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for North Kensington between 1931 and 1945.2 He fought in the Second World War between 1940 and 1945.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Angus and Kincardine between 1950 and 1964.2 He was created 1st Baronet Duncan, of Jordanstone, co. Perth [U.K.] on 13 June 1957.1

     Caroline May Kington-Blair-Oliphant was born on 17 August 1936.1 She is the daughter of Major Philip James Kington-Blair-Oliphant of Ardblair and Beatrice Mary Carroll.1 She married Lt.-Cdr. Edward Francis Baird Spragge, son of Commander Harold Edward Spragge and Vida Janet Baird, on 11 March 1958.1
     From 11 March 1958, her married name became Spragge.1 She lived in 2003 at Hessle House, Ceres, Fife, ScotlandG.1

Edward Francis Baird Spragge was born on 4 June 1930.2 He was the son of Commander Harold Edward Spragge and Vida Janet Baird.1 He married Caroline May Kington-Blair-Oliphant, daughter of Major Philip James Kington-Blair-Oliphant of Ardblair and Beatrice Mary Carroll, on 11 March 1958.1 He died on 22 June 2014 at age 84.3
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.1
