     From 20 October 1979, her married name became Knatchbull. After her marriage, Penelope Meredith Eastwood was styled as Baroness Brabourne of Brabourne on 23 September 2005. After her marriage, Penelope Meredith Eastwood was styled as Countess Mountbatten of Burma on 13 June 2017.

     Sir John Arthur Dalziel Owen was born on 22 November 1925.2 He was the son of Robert John Owen and Olive Barlow.3 He married Valerie Ethell, daughter of William Ethell, on 26 July 1952.2 He died on 9 December 2010 at age 85.3
     He was educated at Soihull School, Solihull, Warwickshire, England.2 He graduated from Brasenose College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)2 He graduated from Brasenose College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1949 with a Bachelor of Civil Laws (B.C.L.)2 He was admitted to Gray's Inn in 1951 entitled to practise as a barrister.2 He was appointed Queen's Counsel (Q.C.) in 1970.2 He held the office of Recorder between 1972 and 1984.2 He held the office of Judge of the Midland and Oxford Circuit between 1980 and 1984.2 He held the office of Circuit Judge of the Central Criminal Court between 1984 and 1986.2 He held the office of Judge of the High Court, Queen's Bench Division between 1988 and 2000.2 He lived at Bickerstaff House, Idlicote, Warwickshire, England.4
