She was the daughter of Friedrich VII Magnus Markgraf von Baden-Durlach and Auguste Marie Prinzessin von Holstein-Gottorp.1 She married Christian August Herzog von Holstein-Gottorp, son of Christian Albrecht Herzog von Holstein-Gottorp and Frederica Amalie Oldenburg, Princess of Denmark, on 2 September 1704. She died on 26 December 1755 at age 73.
