Rear-Admiral Richard Byron was born on 30 July 1769.1 He was the son of Rev. Hon. Richard Byron and Mary Farmer.2 He married Sarah Sykes, daughter of James Sykes, on 23 September 1801.1 He died on 2 September 1837 at age 68.1

Reverend John Byron was born on 21 September 1804.1 He was the son of Rear-Admiral Richard Byron and Sarah Sykes.2 He married Mary Richardson, daughter of William Richardson, on 8 December 1830.1 He died on 6 December 1878 at age 74.1

John Byron was born on 14 September 1832 at Guildford, London, England.2 He was the son of Reverend John Byron and Mary Richardson.3 He married Susan Amelia Graves Chiappini, daughter of Edward Lorenzo Chiappini and Anna Catharina Margaretha Gie, on 24 October 1865 at Cape Town, Cape Province, South Africa.2 He died on 13 August 1895 at age 62 at Surbiton, Surrey, England.2
He fought in the Crimea War in 1854, where he was taken prisoner by the Russians at Sebastopol.2 He fought in the Indian Mutiny in 1857.2 He gained the rank of Major-General in the 10th Regiment of Foot.2 He was Major-General of the 10th Foot.1
