Thomas Brooke was born in 1549.2 He was the son of Richard Brooke and Christiana Carew.1 He married, firstly, Anne Tuchet, daughter of Henry Tuchet, 10th Baron Audley (of Heleigh) and Elizabeth Sneyd. He married, secondly, Elizabeth Merbury, daughter of unknown Merbury.1 He married, thirdly, Eleanor Gerard.1 He died in 1622.1

Richard Brooke was born circa 1510. He was the son of Thomas Brooke.1 He married Christiana Carew, daughter of John Carew. He died in 1569.1
He was appointed Knight of Malta in 1531.1 In 1545 he purchased the estate of Norton from the Crown after the Dissoluition of the Monasteries.1 He held the office of Vice-Admiral of the West. He held the office of Sheriff of Cheshire in 1563.1 He lived at Norton Priory, Cheshire, England.1
