Henry Goring was born circa 1647.1 He was the son of Sir Henry Goring, 2nd Bt. and Frances Bishopp.1 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Morewood, daughter of Anthony Morewood, circa 3 October 1667.1 He married, secondly, Mary Covert, daughter of Sir John Covert, 1st Bt., on 2 February 1675.2 He died in 1687, slain by Sir Edward Dering, 3rd Bt..1

Sir Charles Goring, 3rd Bt. was born circa 1668.1 He was the son of Henry Goring and Elizabeth Morewood.1 He married Elizabeth Bridger, daughter of Richard Bridger and Frances Burrell, on 16 November 1699 at Knightsbridge Chapel, Knightsbridge, London, EnglandG.2 He died circa 10 January 1712/13, without issue.1 He was buried on 13 January 1712/13 at Billingshurst, Sussex, EnglandG.2 His will was proven (by probate) on 17 March 1713.2
He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Bowyer, of Highden, Sussex [E., 1678] on 3 April 1702.1 His last will was dated 16 April 1712.
