     Juliet Virginia Phelps Brown was born on 19 December 1934.¹ She is the daughter of Sir Henry Phelps Brown and Dorothy Evelyn Mostyn Bowlby.¹ She married Keith Hopkins in 1964.¹
     She was educated at Newnham College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ From 1964, her married name became Hopkins.¹

     Keith Hopkins married Juliet Virginia Phelps Brown, daughter of Sir Henry Phelps Brown and Dorothy Evelyn Mostyn Bowlby, in 1964.¹
     He was Professor of Ancient History at Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹

     John de Welles, 5th Baron Welles was baptised on 20 April 1352. He was the son of John de Welles, 4th Lord Welles and Maud de Ros.¹ He married Alianor de Mowbray, daughter of John de Mowbray, 4th Lord Mowbray and Elizabeth de Segrave, Baroness Segrave, before May 1386.² He died on 26 August 1421 at age 69.¹
     He succeeded as the 5th Baron Welles.

     Eudes de Welles was the son of John de Welles, 5th Baron Welles and Alianor de Mowbray.¹ He married Maud de Greystoke, daughter of Ralph de Greystoke, 3rd Lord Greystoke and Katherine de Clifford.¹ He died before 26 July 1417.²

     Maud de Greystoke was the daughter of Ralph de Greystoke, 3rd Lord Greystoke and Katherine de Clifford.¹ She married Eudes de Welles, son of John de Welles, 5th Baron Welles and Alianor de Mowbray.¹
     Her married name became de Welles.¹

     Ralph de Greystoke, 3rd Lord Greystoke was born on 18 October 1353 at Kirkby Ravensworth, Yorkshire, England^G.¹ He was the son of William de Greystoke, 2nd Lord Greystoke and Jane FitzHugh.¹ He married Katherine de Clifford, daughter of Roger de Clifford, 5th Lord Clifford and Maud de Beauchamp. He died on 6 April 1418 at age 64.²
     He gained the title of 3rd Lord Greystoke [E., 1321].

     Katherine de Clifford was the daughter of Roger de Clifford, 5th Lord Clifford and Maud de Beauchamp.² She married Ralph de Greystoke, 3rd Lord Greystoke, son of William de Greystoke, 2nd Lord Greystoke and Jane FitzHugh. She died on 23 April 1413.
     Her married name became de Greystoke.¹

     Joan de Waterton is the daughter of Sir Robert de Waterton.¹ She married Lionel de Welles, 6th Baron Welles, son of Eudes de Welles and Maud de Greystoke, on 15 August 1417 at St. Oswald's Church, Methely, Yorkshire, England^G.¹
     From 15 August 1417, her married name became de Welles.¹
