     Anne Lumley is the daughter of Thomas Lumley and Elizabeth Plantagenet.1 She married Robert Ogle, 4th Baron Ogle, son of Ralph Ogle, 3rd Baron Ogle and Margaret Gascoigne, before 28 December 1515.

     George de Lumley, 2nd Lord Lumley was born circa 1445.2 He was the son of Thomas de Lumley, 1st Lord Lumley and Margaret Harington.2 He married Elizabeth Thornton, daughter of Roger Thornton and Elizabeth de Greystoke.2 He died on 13 November 1507.2
     He was Joint Constable of Scarbrough Castle in 1461.2 He held the office of Sheriff of Northumberland between 1461 and 1463.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Northumberland in 1467.2 He held the office of Sheriff of Northumberland between 1467 and 1471.2 He made peace with King Henry VII after Bosworth.2 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Northumberland from 1480 to 1481.2 He was appointed Knight, Order of the Bath (K.B.) in 1482.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Lord Lumley [E., 1461] on 1 April 1485.2 He was a Commissioner of Array, Yorkshire in September 1485.2

     James Bucknall Grimston, 3rd Viscount Grimston was born on 9 March 1747 at Watford, Hertfordshire, EnglandG.2 He was the son of James Grimston, 2nd Viscount Grimston and Mary Bucknall.2 He married Harriot Walter, daughter of Edward Walter and Hon. Harriot Forrester, on 28 July 1774 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, EnglandG.2 He died on 30 December 1808 at age 61 at Gorhambury, Hertfordshire, EnglandG.2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.3 He was educated at Trinity Hall, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.3 He succeeded as the 3rd Viscount Grimston [I., 1719] on 15 December 1773.4 He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Dunboyne, co. Meath [I., 1719] on 15 December 1773.4 He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Doctor of Civil Law (D.C.L.)3 He was created 1st Baron Verulam of Gorhambury, co. Hertford [Great Britain] on 6 July 1790.3 He held the office of High Steward of St. Albans between 1807 and 1808.3

Harriot Walter1

     Harriot Walter was the daughter of Edward Walter and Hon. Harriot Forrester.1,2 She married James Bucknall Grimston, 3rd Viscount Grimston, son of James Grimston, 2nd Viscount Grimston and Mary Bucknall, on 28 July 1774 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, EnglandG.2 She died on 7 November 1786.3
     After her marriage, Harriot Walter was styled as Viscountess Grimston on 28 July 1774. From 28 July 1774, her married name became Grimston.2
