     William Ernest Quintal was born on 10 February 1888 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ He was the son of Henry Colridge Quintal and Ada Ruth Quintal.¹ He married Mary Edith Buffett Christian, daughter of Eustace Buffett Christian and Christiana Lara McCoy, on 6 January 1919 at Norfolk Island^G.² He died on 28 February 1977 at age 89 at Norfolk Island^G.¹

     Henry Gilbert Campbell Quintal was born on 21 January 1920 at Norfolk Island^G.³ He was the son of Stephen Christian Quintal and Annie Elizabeth Adams.¹ He was also reported to have been born on 23 April 1920 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ He married, secondly, Sylvia May.³ He married, firstly, May Adams, daughter of Caroline Adams, in 1938.¹ He died on 10 February 1988 at age 68 at Norfolk Island^G.¹
     Henry Gilbert Campbell Quintal also went by the nick-name of Cam.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ On 25 June 1945 he was court martialed - unknown cause or outcome.² He retired from the military on 20 November 1945, with the rank of Corporal, late of the 2/33 Infantry Battalion, Australian Military Forces.²
     He was a 'Norfolker of the old school', gentle, courteous at all times.¹

     From 6 January 1919, her married name became Quintal.²

     Constance Ada Maude Quintal was born on 11 January 1920 at Norfolk Island^G.² She is the daughter of William Ernest Quintal and Mary Edith Buffett Christian.¹

     Harry Nicholas Wesley Quintal was born on 17 January 1922 at Norfolk Island^G.² He is the son of William Ernest Quintal and Mary Edith Buffett Christian.¹ He married Winifred Olive Mack on 4 October 1950.²

     Winifred Olive Mack married Harry Nicholas Wesley Quintal, son of William Ernest Quintal and Mary Edith Buffett Christian, on 4 October 1950.²
     From 4 October 1950, her married name became Quintal.²
