     John Joseph Wontner was born on 13 July 1886 at Mitcham, Surrey, EnglandG.1 He was the son of John Wontner and Esther Dunlap.1 He married Elsie Flora Cheesman, daughter of Herbert Henry Cheesman, on 26 July 1913 at Christ Church, Alwyn Road, Wimbledon, London, England.2 He died on 19 November 1968 at age 82 at Brighton, Sussex, EnglandG.2 He was buried on 27 November 1968 at Wimbledon, London, EnglandG.1
     He wrote the book A Guide to Land Registry Practice, published 1928.2 He was an author and journalist.1

     From 26 July 1913, her married name became Wontner.1

     From 27 May 1936, her married name became Robertson-Riches.3 She wrote the book Brighter Than White, published 2007, autobiography.3
