Emily Steele1

     Emily Steele was the daughter of Sir Richard Steele, 3rd Bt.1 She married Reverend Edward Synge, son of Francis Synge and Elizabeth Hatch, in 1834.1,2 She died on 5 May 1881.2
     From 1834, her married name became Synge.1

     Reverend Edward Synge was born on 7 October 1798.2 He was the son of Francis Synge and Elizabeth Hatch.2 He married Emily Steele, daughter of Sir Richard Steele, 3rd Bt., in 1834.1,2 He died on 2 October 1859 at age 60.2
     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, in 1818 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He was the Rector at Matlock, Derbyshire, EnglandG.2

Emily Frances Rendel1

     Emily Frances Rendel was born on 31 October 1835 at Plymouth, Devon, EnglandG.2 She was the daughter of James Meadows Rendel and Catherine Jane Harris.1 She married Charles Synge Christopher Bowen, Baron Bowen of Colwood, son of Reverend Christopher Bowen and Catherine Steele, on 7 January 1862.1 She died on 24 March 1897 at age 61 at 2 Queen's Gate Gardens, London, EnglandG, after a long illness.1 She was buried on 27 March 1897 at Slaugham, Sussex, EnglandG.1 Her will was proven (by probate), at £34,250.1
     From 7 January 1862, her married name became Bowen.1 After her marriage, Emily Frances Rendel was styled as Baroness Bowen of Colwood on 23 September 1893.

     Stuart Rendel, 1st Baron Rendel of Hatchlands was born on 2 July 1834 at Plymouth, Devon, EnglandG.3 He was the son of James Meadows Rendel and Catherine Jane Harris.1 He married Ellen Sophy Hubbard, daughter of William Egerton Hubbard and Louisa Ellen Baldock, on 1 October 1857 at Lower Beeding, Sussex, EnglandG.3 He died on 4 June 1913 at age 78.4
