     Hannah Ayscough was born in 1623 at Market Overton, Rutland, EnglandG.1,2 She was the daughter of James Ayscough and Margery Blythe.3,2 She married, firstly, Isaac Newton, son of Robert Newton, in April 1642.3 She married, secondly, Reverend Barnabas Smith on 26 January 1645/46.3 She died circa 1 June 1697 at Stamford, Lincolnshire, EnglandG.2 She was buried on 4 June 1697 at Colsterworth, Lincolnshire, EnglandG.2
     From April 1642, her married name became Newton.1 From 26 January 1645/46, her married name became Smith.1

     Sir Isaac Newton was born on 25 December 1642 at Woolsthorpe, Lincolnshire, EnglandG.1,3 He was the son of Isaac Newton and Hannah Ayscough.1 He was baptised on 1 January 1642/43 at Colsterworth, Lincolnshire, EnglandG.3 He died on 20 March 1727 at age 84 at Kensington, London, EnglandG.4
     He was educated at The King's School, Grantham, Lincolnshire, EnglandG.4 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in August 1665 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)4

Janetta Hope Gonville Bromhead1

     Janetta Hope Gonville Bromhead was the daughter of Colonel Sir Benjamin Parnell Bromhead, 4th Bt. and Hannah Smith.1 She married Field Marshal William Riddell Birdwood, 1st Baron Birdwood, son of Herbert Mills Birdwood and Edith Marion Sidonie Impey, on 5 March 1894 at Lahore Cathedral, Lahore, IndiaG.1 She died on 14 November 1947.2
     From 5 March 1894, her married name became Birdwood.1 She was awarded the Imperial Order of the Crown of India (C.I.)1 After her marriage, Janetta Hope Gonville Bromhead was styled as Baroness Birdwood on 25 January 1938.

     Sir Thomas Brograve, 1st Bt. was born circa 1638.1 He was the son of John Brograve and Hannah Barnardiston.1 He married Grace Hewet, daughter of Sir John Hewet, 1st Bt. and Catherine Bevill, circa 9 February 1662/63.1 He died circa May 1670.1 He was buried on 4 June 1670 at Braughing, Hertfordshire, EnglandG.1
     He was admitted to Gray's Inn on 24 January 1652/53.1 He was created 1st Baronet Brograve, of Hammels, co. Hertford [England] on 18 March 1662/63.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Hertfordshire from 1664 to 1665.1

     Hannah Smith was the daughter of Reverend James Smith.1 She married Colonel Sir Benjamin Parnell Bromhead, 4th Bt., son of Major Sir Edmund Gonville Bromhead, 3rd Bt. and Judith Christine Wood, on 24 October 1866.2 She died on 8 February 1902.2
     From 24 October 1866, her married name became Bromhead.1

Christopher Bromhead Birdwood, 2nd Baron Birdwood was born on 22 May 1899.1 He was the son of Field Marshal William Riddell Birdwood, 1st Baron Birdwood and Janetta Hope Gonville Bromhead.1 He was baptised at Twickenham, London, EnglandG.1 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Vere Drummond Ogilvie, daughter of Lt.-Col. Sir George Drummond Ogilvie and Lorna Rome, on 7 March 1931 at Delhi, IndiaG.1 He and Elizabeth Vere Drummond Ogilvie were divorced in 1953.2 He married, secondly, Joan Pollack Graham, daughter of Christopher Norman Graham, on 22 February 1954.2 He died on 5 January 1962 at age 62.2
