Sir Henry Hawley, 2nd Bt. was born on 20 October 1776.2 He was the son of Sir Henry Hawley, 1st Bt. and Dorothy Ashwood.2 He married Catherine Elizabeth Shaw, daughter of Sir John Gregory Shaw, 5th Bt. and Hon. Theodosia Margaret Monson, on 29 November 1806.1 He died on 29 March 1831 at age 54.2
