What a Boo-Boo over Yogi.
Celtic have committed a New Year Boo-Boo over a player nicknamed Yogi.
John "Yogi" Hughes stars in Celtic's official 1997 soccer annual, given to thousands of kids as presents at Christmas.
Hughes' photograph is used on SEVEN occasions in the pounds 5.50 publication.
And his grinning face stares out as Mr January in the club's official calendar for 1997.
But Celtic sold the player in OCTOBER this year, and since then he has been turning out for Premier League rivals Hibernian.
Embarrassingly, for the club and Kirkcaldy-based publisher Inglis Allen, the section devoted to Hughes in the annual is headlined "Home At Last!"
It states: "It had never been any great secret that John Hughes always supported Celtic and that Parkhead was his spiritual home.
"The man is, quite simply, a born winner. His worth to Celtic in the renewed pursuit of former glory was enormous in 1995/96."
And it adds: "It may have taken years too long for John to make it. But now, certainly, his journey was complete.
"He had arrived - he was truly HOME AT LAST!"
Hughes, 32, departed Park-head to make way for club record signing Alan Stubbs.
Yet there is hardly a mention in the book of the big Englishman, who cost pounds 5.5million from Bolton last summer.
A spokesman for Celtic said: "The copy deadline had past before we sold John to Hibs.
"However, considering how popular John remains with all connected to Celtic, I'm sure no- one will take offence."
