Breaking Bad Season 3 Premiere & Television Poster
Aaron Paul (Big Love) also stars as Jesse Pinkman, a former student of Walt’s and his partner in meth making. Paul’s performance in Season 2 was so captivating, I almost wish they had given his character more screen time over Walt. Jesse’s struggles with drug addiction were interesting, exciting and depressing all at once.
I can’t wait to see what Season 3 has in store for Walt, his family and his newly expanding drug cartel. In many ways, Breaking Bad has become the blue collar equivalent of The Sopranos, with the show focusing on both Walt’s home life and crime family, and how the two effect each other. I hear Season 3 has some crazy game changers early on, so expect a bumpy ride this year!
Breaking Bad airs Sunday nights at 10/9c on AMC.

Sons of Anarchy Season 2 Premiers Tonight
Although I originally assumed this dark, slightly comedic drama about a notorious outlaw motorcycle club, the Sons of Anarchy, was the heir apparent to FX’s The Shield, I now think I was a little off. In retrospect, I think Sons of Anarchy actually more closely resemble another hugely popular show cable television show about crime families, HBO’s The Sopranos.
Like The Sopranos, SOA focuses on the two families (and life) of Jax Teller, whose loyalty to the club is tested by his growing apprehension for its lawlessness. But, unlike Tony Sopranos’ two families, the line between Jax’s blood family and motorcycle club is constantly blurring…and in most instances, his actual family and SAMCRO (The Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club, Redwood Original) are one in the same.
Every hour of Sons of Anarchy is action packed, and if you enjoyed watching shows like The Shield or The Sopranos then I highly recommend tuning in tonight for SOA’s Season 2 premiere. The show is pretty straightforward, and I don’t think missing Season 1 will hinder your enjoyment or understanding of the season to come. Plus, Season 2 now stars Adam Arkin and Henry Rollins as white separatists looking to wrestling control of Charming, CA from Jax and SAMCRO. While the casting of Arkin as a white separatist may seem a bit strange, from what I’ve read people who have seen the show’s first few episodes say Arkin is really killer in the role. I have a feeling, based on the rumored storylines of Season 2, that the action will be coming early and often in Sons of Anarchy this year.
Sons of Anarchy stars Charlie Hunnam, Katey Sagal and Ron Perlman, and airs every Tuesday night at 10/9c on FX.

Barneyism of the Week - Woo! Girls
The world absolutely needs Woo Girls.
If there were no Woo Girls, there’d be no Girls Gone Wild,
no bachelorette parties, no Las Vegas pool side bars.
All the things that you hold dearest Lily would be gone.
The souvenir shot glass industry would collapse. So would the body glitter industry, and the stretch hummer rental industry.
Tiny cowboy hats would be worn only by tiny cowboys.
And when “Brown Eyed Girl” would come up on the jukebox all you would here would be silence…and “Brown Eyed Girl.”
But who would woo Lily, who would woo?
Would you? Would you…woo?
"Woooo!"
How I Met Your Mother
It seems like we have a full on Jamie-Lynn Sigler renaissance going on right now. Between playing herself on Entourage earlier this season and now her appearance as Woo Girl #1 on this week’s episode of HIMYM, Ms. Sigler is back on the small screen and better than ever. Hopefully this will lead to more guest appearances on some of The Blot’s favorite shows. Because really, who couldn’t use more Meadow Soprano!?!
