Tomorrow, Bottleneck Gallery is taking a little trip through time with Matt Ferguson’s latest Transformers 40th Anniversary poster, this time based on the iconic 1980s animated television series!  This is a can’t miss release for fans of Transformers Generation 1 and the original TV show. As BNG explained, “Matt is one of, if not the, biggest Transformers fans we know, and we’re excited to present his love letter to the original animated series. Hasbro is heading to San Diego Comic-Con 2024 later this month with four really exciting exclusives, including this SDCC 2024 Exclusive Transformers Legacy United Voyager Class “Fractured Friendship” 2 Pack! It includes Security Officer Orion Pax (before he becomes Optimus Prime) and Gladiator Megatron.  This Comic-Con exclusives shows what Optimus and Megatron looked like before the War for Cybertron when these two iconic characters were still friends.

Orion Pax transforms between robot and Cybertronian truck in 26 steps, while Gladiator Megatron transforms from robot to Cybertronian tank in 16 steps. Both figures are fully articulated and include various weapon accessories. The Blot is a huge Dan Mumford fan, so I was super pumped to learn he was teaming up with Bottleneck Gallery on two matching officially licensed Transformers posters!!! Today, Moor-Art Gallery is releasing a new officially licensed Transformers print of the evil Megatron by artist Luke Preece!  It’s the perfect companion piece to Preece’s previously released Optimus Prime print. The Regular Edition features Megatron with his blaster, having delivered the fatal blow to Optimus Prime, while the Variant is a pearlescent foil print depicting a “reformatting” Megatron as he becomes Galvatron (as seen in Transformers: The Movie).

Vice Press is setting up shop at Thought Bubble UK this weekend with a ton of amazing convention exclusives and debuts. That includes this epic new Transformers: The Movie poster by artist Florey! Produced in collaboration with Moor Art Gallery, “Florey’s The Transformers: The Movie limited edition poster is available in both a retro paper edition and foil edition, each featuring both classic characters from the film.” Fans can first purchase this beautiful new movie poster at the Moor Art Gallery Thought Bubble booth on Saturday, November 12th, and Sunday, November 13th. Florey will also be in attendance to sign posters during the weekend.

Transformers: The Movie by Florey is a 24”x36” hand numbered lithograph print. Autobots, Roll Out! The Transformers join Kotobukiya’s popular Bishoujo line of pop culture statues with two new figures, Optimus Prime and Megatron. In a collaboration between Hasbro, Takara Tomy, and Kotobukiya, these Transformers Bishoujo Statues are based on illustrations by Shunya Yamashita inspired by their ionic looks in the Transformers G1 cartoon. First in the series is the Autobot leader Optimus Prime Bishoujo Statue. She features a cute space bun hairstyle and the trailer reimagined into a briefcase. The statue’s base is designed with the Autobot logo in metallic paint and includes an alternate Battle Mask Alternate Head for an even more gallant look!

The second statue in the new Transformers Bishoujo Series is Megatron, the Emperor of Destruction and leader of the Decepticons. Her bob hairstyle with straight bangs, garrison cap, and dark eye shadow are merely a few of the features that have been carefully designed to capture the feel of the evil Decepticon leader. A contrasting crude gun metallic color is used to paint the Fusion Cannon attached to her right shoulder, which includes details on the handle of the cannon that incorporate aspects of the original G1 Megatron design. Her base also has the Decepticons logo in a stunningly painted metallic colorway.
