Sony PlayStation 4 Pro DevKit
We’ve all probably seen the PlayStation 5 DevKit by now, but what about its predecessor? Gamer Nexus shows us the rarely seen PlayStation 4 Pro DevKit, which is codenamed ‘Neo’ and packs 16GB of GDDR5 RAM, along with two 12mm heat pipes, an evaporator, condenser, as well as an aluminum fin stack.

Aside from the 16 x 1GB of GDDR5 memory, it also comes equipped with a 70mm Nidec fan, an APU with lid, and 12mm heat pipe. For those wondering what sets the PS4 Pro apart from the standard model, it would be the upgraded GPU with 4.198 teraflops of processing power, a higher CPU clock, and support for USB 3.1 / Bluetooth 4.0 / 5.0 GHz Wi-Fi. Plus, it also includes 1GB of DDR3 memory utilized to swap out non-gaming applications that run in the background, enabling them to use an additional 512MB of the console’s GDDR5 memory.
