Unlike the Panasonic Toughbook 40, the world’s largest laptop can be used in the battlefield, or at least without extreme damage, but it does make for a great entertainment machine. Evan and Katelyn realized that companies were just making smaller laptops, so they set out to create the biggest one yet.
The largest laptop on the market now measures 21-inches, while a typical computer monitor is 32-inches, so why not create a 43-inch model with a Samsung M70B? However, the biggest issue with creating a massive laptop is finding the right battery setup to power everything. First, they had to make an aluminum extrusion frame, with plywood being used for the top lid and bottom section. Now you might be thinking what kind of keyboard can fit the frame, and the answer to that is the Redragon K605 Alien Giant. As for hardware, an Intel NUC 11 Enthusiast Kit with an 11th Gen Intel Core i7-1165G7 2.8GHz processor and an NVIDIA RTX 2060 runs everything. In the end, they used a couple BESTEK 150W portable power station for the hardware, which resulted in a 100-pound laptop when all was said and done.
