JŽ 461 and ŽS 461
[edit]https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q1102972 and https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q28836245 is the same locomotive. It should be one item here.--MaGa 12:29, 4 March 2017 (UTC)
- Yes and no. Q28836245 is derived from Q1102972, one is operated by ŽS, the other one used to be operated by JŽ. That's why I put Property:P460 on both items. The problem is that we already have different commons categories and various wikipedia version refer to one or the other.
- Also this a general problem for (almost) all ex-Yu locomotives. Some wikipedia language versions even have articles on both locomotives, look for example at Q27688789 and Q1473799, one of HŽ, one of ŽS, both derived from Q1058042 of JŽ, But our friends from hungarian wikipedia have articles on both HŽ and ŽS locomotives, even though it might be considerd the same locomotive. Same principle applies to class 461 of JŽ and ŽS, even though as of now no wp-language has separate articles on these items yet. Regards, --Kleeblatt187 (talk) 12:44, 4 March 2017 (UTC)
- Totally mess. Anyway, thanks for your answer.--MaGa 17:24, 14 March 2017 (UTC)
Zentralhaltestelle
[edit]Hi, I find very few uses of the word "Zentralhaltestelle" in Wikidata (except in the File namespace, which I haven't really investigated yet) and in German Wikipedia, and you seem to be the only editor using it. Can you tell me whether this word is commonly used in Germany/Austria/Switzerland to describe a junction point between different modes of passenger transport, such as long-distance (train) to local (city bus) traffic networks?
I ask because the article about the Swedish concept of sv:Resecentrum is currently linked to transport hub (Q2298537), which I think is a bit too broad as it includes freight traffic (containers and oil) as well as passenger transport. Also, none of the individual facilities in Sweden identified as "resecentrum" have actually been made instance of (P31) of transport hub, but they are typically classified as railway stations (which they include, but they also have bus terminals and other appropriate services for travellers).
Before I create a new item for them, I'd like to see if there is an existing public transit infrastructure item in some other part of the Wikiverse that I could refer to, and Zentralhaltestelle comes close, though perhaps it's a bit small, and it doesn't have its own item anyway. I have previously found Q190352 "Zentrale Umsteigestelle" but concluded that it's even smaller and might consist of a mere switching point between two bus routes (its definition looks pretty arbitrary).
Do you have some insight here that could be helpful to me? I think I see too many Q-items not labelled in English appearing as subclasses to various transport network nodes and suspect many of them are functional duplicates of each other. I'd rather spend days looking for the correct item than create another duplicate... --SM5POR (talk) 05:23, 27 July 2020 (UTC)
- @SM5POR: Hi, thanks for your message. I am on vacation at this time, thus short of time. I will have a look at this topic again within the next days, I remember that I also have had questions when editing those items. Regards, more in a few days. --Kleeblatt187 (talk) 12:00, 1 August 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks for the status note! No hurry for me, I'm working on other things right now (partly related; I'm actually looking into the mathematical generalizations of "intersection", "point" or "network" that corresponding transport infrastructure items could be defined as instances of).
- But I could mention that I have at least found the English term for the object I'm looking for, a "transit centre" (or possibly "public transit centre"). My problem is that while there are several English-language WP articles (and thus also WD items) dealing with public transit, few of them seem to focus on the points of transfer, but instead on the mode of transport as such, making transport hub (Q2298537) the nearest "point" I could refer to. But if I create a new item for "public transit centre" and move the Swedish article there, I guess some Swedish WP editor would consider it too lonely and move it back. Perhaps a few strategically labelled WP redirect links would do the trick? --SM5POR (talk) 12:23, 1 August 2020 (UTC)
Query for wooden houses in saxony
[edit]Hi Kleeblatt187, please can you help: User talk:Erfurth#Objekte_in_Chemnitz ...ciao --Erfurth (talk) 08:39, 29 June 2021 (UTC)

Bin gespannt, was uns einfällt.
Call for participation in a task-based online experiment
[edit]Dear Kleeblatt187,
I hope you are doing good,
I am Kholoud, a researcher at King's College London, and I work on a project as part of my PhD research, in which I have developed a personalised recommender system that suggests Wikidata items for the editors based on their past edits. I am collaborating on this project with Elena Simperl and Miaojing Shi.
I am inviting you to a task-based study that will ask you to provide your judgments about the relevance of the items suggested by our system based on your previous edits.
Participation is completely voluntary, and your cooperation will enable us to evaluate the accuracy of the recommender system in suggesting relevant items to you. We will analyse the results anonymised, and they will be published to a research venue.
The study will start in late January 2022 or early February 2022, and it should take no more than 30 minutes.
If you agree to participate in this study, please either contact me at kholoud.alghamdi@kcl.ac.uk or use this form https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSees9WzFXR0Vl3mHLkZCaByeFHRrBy51kBca53euq9nt3XWog/viewform?usp=sf_link
I will contact you with the link to start the study.
For more information about the study, please read this post: https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/User:Kholoudsaa
In case you have further questions or require more information, don't hesitate to contact me through my mentioned email.
Thank you for considering taking part in this research.

Merge request
[edit]Hello.
Can you merge "Category:Wikipedia categories named after populated places in Azerbaijan" (Q26820935) and "Category:Wikipedia categories named after populated places in Azerbaijan" (Q105116279)? Both pages were obviously unknowingly created separately.
Yours sincerely, 31.200.14.146 08:51, 9 April 2022 (UTC)

Prießnitzstraße Leipzig
[edit]Hallo, Kleeblatt187,
