Smith’s Centers of Excellence serve as the intersection of scholarship and the marketplace, putting breakthrough research at the service of students and companies. Through events, programs, and research, each of our centers immerses our students in complex and evolving marketplaces in which success depends on critical thinking, creativity and entrepreneurship. Corporate Engagement
In a global marketplace driven by sweeping social and economic forces and rapid and continual advances in technology, the corporate community is a vital partner to the Smith School’s ability to prepare smart, savvy business leaders who can handle change, think on their feet, work collaboratively, and improve the markets and communities they serve. Strategic investment in our students, faculty, and Centers of Excellence will generate a strong return for corporations and organizations across a wide spectrum of industries.
Through programs and initiatives, such as corporate partners programs, experiential learning programs, student projects, case competitions, training and development workshops, faculty research, and scholarships, corporations can gain visibility and build brand awareness, gain valuable insight into their own work, and help to advance their respective industries.

Recruiting
Infuse your talent pipeline with exceptional Smith Terps through the Office of Career Services.
Work with our Employer Relations (ER) Team to customize recruiting strategies to connect with Smith talent for full-time, part-time, or internship opportunities. ER assists with planning, preparing and executing on-campus interviews, virtual interviews, events, career fairs, networking sessions, and other engagements to connect students with potential jobs. Use our online portal, HireSmith, to post jobs, register for our undergraduate career fair, and request on-campus interviews for our fall and spring recruiting seasons.
I’ve had the privilege to partner with the Smith Office of Career Services team for a number of years. Everyone at College Park and Shady Grove has not only been welcoming but always eager to work with my ‘out of the box’ ideas to engage with students each and every semester. Their commitment to the student and employer experience is visible in the flawless organization and execution of events and all-encompassing career preparedness programming.
We love recruiting at Smith. The faculty and staff do a wonderful job preparing the talented students for work after school. We are grateful for our wonderful partnership with Smith!
