Designed around QNAP’s unique "NASbook" concept, the TBS-464 is a thin, B5-sized device that measures just 1.18 inches in height and weighs just 740 g. Have it within your office, carry it around, and take it into meetings to enable quick file sharing, collaboration, and presentations with team members. Compared with a conventional NAS, the TBS-464's usage of M.2 NVMe SSDs (sold separately) for storage allows it to be significantly smaller and quieter while at the same time providing ultra-high performance and mobility. The M.2 SSDs are also easily accessible for installation and maintenance by removing the bottom rubber pads and screws. Alongside laptops and mobile phones, the TBS-464 NASbook is an essential device for modern offices and workgroups.

Supporting four M.2 2280 NVMe SSDs, the TBS-464 can achieve up to 12 TB storage capacity by installing four 4 TB SSDs in RAID 5. Compared with external SSDs/hard drives, the TBS-464 secures your data with RAID protection. Need more storage space? QuTS hero hardware requirements

• At least 8GB RAM.
• At least 16GB RAM for Inline Data Deduplication. 32GB memory is recommended for optimal performance.
• It is recommended to create an SSD RAID with at least two SSDs to attain optimal system performance. Please note that M.2 SSD hot-swapping is not supported.

TBS-464 with personal backup and restore solution allows mobile workers to back up and sync large batches of files between laptops easily. Back up Windows files and systems using NetBak Replicator and NetBak PC Agent or back up macOS using Time Machine. Then create Snapshots for your NASbook regularly to protect your data. You can also back up data and Snapshots on NASbook to another remote NAS using Hybrid Backup Sync and restore your NASbook when needed.
