How Does Path of Exile 2 Trading Work? 

In Path of Exile 2, gold may be dropped when slaying enemies in the world, but gold is only used to buy items from NPC vendors, and purchase services like skill respecs. While vendor gear is good enough, some of the top-tier items in the game are sold by other players. In the player market, currency items like the Chaos Orb are the standard currency for all PoE players. One of the rarest and most valuable currency items by far is the Mirror of Kalandra, which can duplicate any piece of gear. 

These items are used for purchasing the best Unique gear like Mageblood, Headhunter, and Crystallised Omniscience, which require a lot of Pinnacle boss farming to drop.

Crafting the perfect item is one of the core aspects of Path of Exile 2’s endgame since it’s required for beating the game’s many Pinnacle bosses. Path of Exile 2’s Endgame Activities 

The endgame is the main highlight of Path of Exile 2, with many players preparing way ahead even in the leveling stage. Currently, there are a few activities that will test even the strongest Exiles: 

• Atlas of Worlds 

• Trial of Sekhemas 

• Trial of Chaos 

• The Fortress 

The Atlas, much like the original PoE, is the main endgame for farming loot and currency items. This activity presents an infinite number of maps and encounters to fight, with each node traveled increasing the density and difficulty of the mobs faced within. While exploring a map, players can find Precursor Artifacts that will empower nearby monsters. If cleared, these will grant temporary buffs to make the run more interesting. Strongboxes guarded by monsters can also be found scattered around the Atlas, which contain a lot of currency items and gear. Essence monsters will also be found frozen during a run, which, when killed, drop Essences that guarantee a specific type of item when used on Normal items.

Each Atlas map has a chance to spawn certain encounters from the past Leagues of the first PoE. These are Breach, Ritual, Delirium, and Expedition. These play exactly like their original versions, but come with new monsters, loot, and progression.

The Trial of Sekhemas is the only means of unlocking an Ascendancy class. This Trial is a multi-layered dungeon that has objectives that must be beaten to proceed, with each Trial ending with a Pinnacle boss fight. This Trial demands that players get hit by enemy attacks as little as possible, as sustaining damage will cause players to lose Honor, which is an exclusive “health bar” for this activity. Losing enough Honor will cause the player to fail the Trial, but succeed, and the player can choose which Ascendancy to specialize in.
