The second format is intended to be cut into flash cards or apart completely for matching. For flash cards cut the words apart and fold along the dotted line resulting in the English word on one side and the Spanish translation and pronunciation on the other. For matching, cut apart completely and use the other file as a reference when matching back together. These are the words I found most useful for teaching my daughter early Spanish.
