This is some thing which was very common how ever I dont see many about so I wanted to capture it. Pictured here in Morecambe in the autumn it stands proudly on the corner of the street.

I read somewhere that this lovely pillar box on the tiny Scottish island of Iona is a replica rather than genuine Victorian. It would be a shame if that's true because it seems so fitting. I used an HDR filter in this image to bring out the detail.
