trying to solve my pencil problem in the classroom. Created a pencil parking chart from a long strip of cardboard from box, contact paper, left over boarders, and pencil clips. Each pencil is numbered and they must return it at the end of the day. When a pencil is needing replacement, a new pencil will go into their slot. Let's see if this stops the wasteful pencil problem...

Do you get tired of losing your pencils when students borrower them? This cleaver idea might help you keep track of where they go. First you need some laundry clips with each of your students name on it. Put a pattern on the pencil and the same pattern on a sheet on your desk. When a student borrows a pencil they take the clip with their name on it and place it on the same pattern that matches their pencil.

Students put their pencil in its spot every time we leave the classroom. Stop pencil loss!
