Hello Ros Creates on Instagram: "Gaudi mirror frames. This is one of my favourite ever design projects. Initially taught to secondary level but since adapted the brief to suit primary. I give the children a design brief to design a mirror frame to sell in a gift shop in Barcelona. They learned about the architect Antoni Gaudi and began to make a series of design drawings of natural forms in sketchbooks. They took a mirror template and used elements of their drawings to design their frame. To produce the frame, they used cardboard, built up relief areas using tissue paper and paper mache.
