Microaggression is defined as the common subtle interactions, comments, or behaviors that express negative attitudes, prejudice or hostility toward marginalized groups.

Today we're being mindful about how we may have used microaggressions in the past.💡⁣ ⁣ The term “microaggressions” was coined by a Black Harvard professor and psychiatrist Dr. Chester Pierce in 1970. He was studying the persistent presence of stigmatizing representations of Black people on television.
