Mallory Nikolaus on Instagram: "In just 12 days, we completely transformed our old kitchen into my new favorite part of the house! The kitchen is the heart of the home and now it FEELS like ours! With the help of our besties @savannahkaydesigns and her husband, we removed the old granite, removed the angled island and rearranged the cabinetry to build two (!!!) new islands, modified an old hutch, moved electrical, plumbing and gas, patched the floors, installed new butcher block countertops, added new lights, a new faucet, new trim, tiled two walls and did a whole lotta painting! We even kept the same cabinets, floors and appliances! 🙌🏼 I call this a “medium” makeover since it’s not just paint or little updates but wasn’t a full gut renovation!
