Lear’s Macaws, Glaucous Macaw and Hyacinth Macaws are precious blue birds. They are the largest macaws and have beautiful blue plumage with some tones of green and other shades. From a distance they look similar to each other but they have some variation in their size, color and patches on their skin.

They are good pets but very challenging; only experienced persons can handle them. Hahn’s macaw, Yellow Coloured macaw, Scarlet macaw, Hyacinth macaw, and Blue macaws are good pets. Almost all of these breeds are very friendly. But the Hyacinth macaws are the most pleasant among all other macaws. They give an excellent response to training and need more attention from their owner. They are highly interactive. But they need time to train and make bonding with their owner.
