I have a few different methods I use to study the Bible, but most of the time I like using colors to represent certain things. I like the messy, sloppy, colorful look. To me, the more worn out a Bible is, the better. It gives it character and deeper meaning. I love reading through old journaling entries + old notes, remembering how God met me and grew me. I love highlighting in my Bible! Seeing all the colors that represent all the important themes that I want to remember is so satisfying.
