I had a friend ask about a Block of the Month. I don't have one on my site and I've actually never participated in one, but I thought it might be fun to put together a list of a few Block of the Months available for 2023. Most of them are free, but a few of them do have a cost. Block of the Month is a great way to make a quilt in bite size pieces. This simple Staircase block will make a stunning finished quilt. Scroll down to see how the blocks will look when several are combined. Fabric Recipe: Use florals, dots, paisleys, etc. in multi colors (as shown below). Choose one dark-ish and one light-ish print. (Some low contrast blocks will be nice too.) Directions: 1.
