A new jiu-jitsu academy in Santa Monica, CA run by black belts Kenny Florian and Jason Hunt has opened to inspire growth and creativity among the local community.

JT Torres has a distinguished list of accolades in gi and no-gi grappling. He brings his deep knowledge and a new focus to students in a gorgeous state of the art facility. You’ll notice the ‘checkerboard’ look of the FUJI Mats on top of a Superblock subfloor system. This look is achieved by alternating pairs of the Grey Fuji Tatami mats and the light hits the tatami grain direction to give a very cool look.
