The most important thing I learned on Tralfamadore was that when a person dies he only appears to die. He is still very much alive in the past, so it is very silly for people to cry at his funeral. 🐜 Very brave students joined Ryan the Bug Man in holding some large (and very much alive!) insects, such as the tarantula, praying mantis, cockroach, and more. Ryan taught attendees about insect anatomy, life cycles, and defensive characteristics. The Harrisburg Regional Office hosted the event for all grades in late October. See the creepy crawlies here:
