The artwork was inspired by the Nordic legends of draugr the disgraced sinful or unworthy dead of Nors mythology Forced to wander the earth as a rotting shambling undead husk of their former self, endlessly seeking revenge, redemption or simply locked into a state of unending madness.

Dyggvi is a legendary Swedish king of the House of Ynglings. He was a brave warrior and a skilled leader, who led his people to many victories in battles
