Flood Relief Communications Center
|
The massive floods at Malaysia's east coast in December 2014 has displaced over 200,000 people, and many animals, both strays and owned, have been helplessly stranded there as well.
In collaboration with SPCA Selangor, PetFinder.my has deployed this Flood Relief Communications Center (FRCC) to help source for and coordinate volunteers, donations as well as news updates.
SPCA Selangor is working with local rescuers and Department of Veterinary Services (DVS) to establish satellite aid centers in Kelantan, Terengganu and Pahang to help animals displaced by floods. These centers will support efforts in rescuing, sheltering, treating and rehoming animals over the next 3 months.
If you would like to lend a helping hand, please check out the Volunteer and Donation sections for further details. Every effort counts in saving precious lives!
Please share this page with your friends too to help encourage more nationwide volunteers, rescuers and animal lovers to participate in the flood relief efforts.
