So beauteous, Sara. My daughter's old high school has a huge red maple at the entryway. It's fiery red in spring and summer. Love this poem, a FAv. Sunday blessings :)

Delightful, Sara especially in light of the artwork! I loved seeing all of the different maple leaves. Wonderful, creative phrases! I'm so glad you tried the form. It's so wonderful I would love to see you enter it as it has all the elements of a beautiful entry. Just an FYI - in a Pleiades for "maples," each line begins with a word starting with the letter "M." I hope you don't mind my feedback as I love this poem. Best wishes and blessings!

Thank you, Sam. I missed one detail when I was reading at 3:30 this morning about how to write them. I think I have written them before but did not remember how it was done. Sara K..I could say poetic license...

"golden locks like Goldie Locks" I liked it very much. A lovely verse on maple leaves and autumn ! This you have to re write into Pleiades form if you wish to enter the contest.
