Reporting Road Hazards
Summt County manages general maintenance on all County highways, as well as certain township and municipal roads through established maintenance agreements. Keeping our roads safe and clear is a priority, and we rely on residents to help identify potential hazards. If you encounter any of the following issues, please report them so we can address them as quickly as possible:
- Potholes
- Fallen trees
- Litter, mud, or debris on the roadway
- Malfunctioning traffic signals
- Standing water on the roadway
- Animals in the driving lanes
- Low-hanging utility lines over the roadway
- Damaged guardrail

For emergencies and issues that pose an immediate danger to motorists, call 9-1-1.
For urgent non-emergencies that do not pose an immediate danger to motorists but are time sensitive, contact our Public Services Department at (330) 643-2860, available 24/7.
