The Soaring Society of America is headquartered in a 4,000 square foot office building that sits at the corner of Jack Gomez Boulevard and Avenue A on the old World War Two bomber base in Hobbs, New Mexico. DIRECTORS AT LARGE

Directors at Large are chosen based on a specific ability to contribute to the Society affairs, one Director at Large seat is nominated by the NAA and another is reserved for the outgoing Chairman (if he/she is not serving as a Regional Director). The 7 Directors at Large are elected for a one-year term by the rest of the Board of Directors.

REGIONAL DIRECTORS

STATE GOVERNORS

The function of a State Governor shall be to assist in the promotion of soaring activity within a designated geographical area. He shall endeavor to attend meetings of the various clubs in his area and seek the assistance of the SSA Directors and Committees in the solution of problems.
