Feed Mill Services

A. Usage of Feed Mill equipment

  1. Requesters who wish to use the Feed Mill equipment for grinding/milling of their own ingredients should complete the Feed Mill Request Form and indicate the type and amount of ingredients to be processed.
  2. The processing fee will be computed based on prevailing rates of power consumption, labor, equipment depreciation, and overhead cost (15 %).
  3. Milled ingredients will be released only upon full payment through SEAFDEC/AQD cashiering or by bank transfer to the SEAFDEC/AQD Bank of Commerce account 023-00-001593-8.
  4. Only authorized SEAFDEC/AQD staff will be allowed to operate the grinding and milling equipment.

B. Request for Feed Ingredients

  1. Requesters are required to fill-out the Feed Mill Request Form and indicate the type and amount of ingredients they need.
  2. Requesters should provide their own containers for: (a) dry ingredients weighing less than 25 kg, and (b) oils of any volume.
  3. The Feed Mill will only provide dry ingredients that pass through mesh #40 (~420 microns).
  4. Requested ingredients will be prepared and released only upon full payment through SEAFDEC/AQD cashiering or by bank transfer to the SEAFDEC/AQD Bank of Commerce account 023-00-001593-8.

C. Request for Extruded Feeds

  1. Requesters are required to fill out the Feed Mill Request Form and indicate the type, amount, and pellet size of extruded feeds.
  2. Feed Mill will only produce pellets with diameters of 2, 3, 6, and 9 mm for sinking feeds and at least 3 mm for floating feeds.
  3. Requested feeds will be prepared and released only upon full payment through SEAFDEC/AQD cashiering or by bank transfer to the SEAFDEC/AQD Bank of Commerce account 023-00-001593-8.

NOTES:

  • Feed mill prepares feeds on a per order basis following a first-order-first-served scheme.
  • Feeds are usually ready for pick-up two to three weeks upon receipt of confirmation of the order.
  • Prices are computed based on the actual amount of ingredients used. The weight of the finished product may be less than the total weight of the ingredients by about 5 % due to losses during feed processing.
