ONLINE PARKING BOOKING


SYSTEM

INTRODUCTION
●Motivation
We are Gand Dipak And Shere Pramod from T.Y.Bsc (CS) we are suppose to do the project
for semister four together. As a it related student or technical student for the project we
have to make a web site as our background is commerce specifically so we suppose to add
transactions like activities in our project or web site that we gonna make.

● Problem statement

The parking place is very important all over the world especially in the cities of the
countries. Every day thousands of car drivers spend a lot of time to find where to park. The result
of this situation is theft in urban areas, increasing traffic congestion and frustration of drivers. In
order to solve this problem, the implementation of Online Vehicle Park Reservation System in
this city for managing parking places is mandatory. It will allow the drivers to Reserve a parking
place on the Platform of People’s Park Kyebando (PPK) anytime, anywhere.

● Purpose / objective and goals:

The proposed project is a smart parking booking system that provides peoples an easy
way of reserving a parking space online using web portal.It overcomes the problem of finding a
parking space in city that unnecessary consumes time.Hence, this project offers a web
application based reservation system where customer can view various parking spaces and select
nearby or specific area of their choice to view whether space is available or not.If the booking
space is available, then customer can book it for specific time slot.The booked space will be
marked and will not be available for anyone else for the specified time
NEED OF COMPUTERIZATION
The proposed project is a smart parking booking system that provides peoples an easy
way of reserving a parking space online using web portal.It overcomes the problem of

SOFTWARE AND HARDWARE SPECIFICATIONS:

 Hardware Specification:

Processor : core i5
Ram : 8.00 GB.
SSD : 256 GB.

 Software Specification:

Frontend: Html, CSS, JavaScript.


Web Servers : WampServer.
Backend : PHP, MYSQL.
Browser Program : Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox.
FEASIBILITY STUDY
#Functional requirement
● Admin able to define arking areas, specify a range of parking lots, the parking cost
per minute/hour, and other details.

● Admin must be able to update data of existing parking areas.


● User can get the successful message after booking
● the back end management system able to authenticate users and admins before updating
any sensitive information

● admin able to view the information of all registered parking areas.

#performance requirement

The performance analysis of car parking process in a parking lot with various levels
of assistance is considered in the project. The input of the model is the description of the parking
lot and a Markovian description for the driver behavior, the set of computable performance
measures contains the average time necessary for the user to reach the desired destination. The
amount of cars moving in the parking lot at the same time (thus the environmental strain),etc to
overcome the state space expansion, that makes the direct analysis of the model computationally
infeasible, we apply a mean field limit based approximation whose accuracy is investigated with
discrete event simulation.

#security requirement

● Confidentiality: preserve the access control and disclosure restrictions on information.


Guarantee that no one will be break the rules of personal privacy and proprietary information.
● Integrity: avoid the improper (unauthorized) information modification or destruction .
Here is included ensure the non-repudiation and information authenticity.
● Availability: the information must be available to access and use all the time and with
reliable access. Certainly , it just must be true for those who have right of access.
Drawbacks
 Working On Offline mode

 Inaccurate Data Entry effect on system.

 Lots of data entry Required For First Time.

 Customer cannot check their work status or bills.

 Hard to take backup of system.

 Only admin can create members with limited access & functionality.

 Not Available For customer.

 Limited Reports Functionality.

 Billing Statement is not provided.

 Limited Function to search records.

LIMITATIONS
 This application can use only by admin.

 Inability of the system to manage the whole history of customer.

 The size of the database increases day-by-day, increasing the load on the database
back up and data maintenance activity.

 Cannot Upload the previous data.

 Limited Functionality In Reports. Not able to export exports in print like balance
sheet.

 system will generate new pdf file each time to download bill
Conclusion
• From a proper analysis of positive points and constraints on the
component , it can be safely concluded that the product is highly efficient
GUI based component. This component can be easily plugged in many
other systems.
• This Application allows the administration department of the Medical to
System to collect accurate information about profit.
• This application enables you to enter the details of new customer, bills,
challan, products of the system.
• This application also enables you to record transaction ,Delivery challan
details.
