PART 2 Notice Before Examination

Software & Hardware Requirements

1. Exam location
Quiet, undisturbed, suitable to think.

2. Computer & network

Computer with intact camera and stable network (Internet speed 500KB/S
or above recommended).

3. Browser
Google Chrome version 73 or above.

Exam Integrity Requirements

1. Alwasy turn on your camera

Facial recognition, screen monitoring, phone monitoring, and other monitoring measures will be used
in the exam. Please make sure your camera is alwasy turned on and keep your face within the video
range in the exam.

2. Don't quit testing page and do copy/paste operation

Please close all programs unrelated to the exam on your computer before starting answering
questions, especially chat software or social medias. If you reply messages, make or receive calls, or
do other sensitive operations, they may be identified as cheating.
Quiting the testing page or doing copy/paste will be recorded, and they may be identified as cheating.

3. Please take the exam honestly

It is forbidden to ask others to replace you to take the exam, refer to books, search answers online,
discuss with others, ask others for help, block or offset your camera.
PART 2 Notice Before Examination

Special Notice
1. Please provide your correct information before the exam, especially the email address and full name.
2. Please prepare the suitable computer and Google Chrome browser in advance, read the Notices Before
Examination, watch The Guide to Complete Online ISSP Examination video, and this file to learn about the exam
system.
3. Please open the exam links by fully copying it from your email into Google Chrome address bar (Don’t copy other
extra special symbols, such as ] ), test the computer and confirm the participation after receiving the exam links (at
least 10 minutes before the starting time of exam). If you didn’t receive the exam links, please inform the exam
organizer ASAP and the new exam links will be sent to your email or be directly provided to you.
4. Please start answering the exam questions on time, or you might not enter the exam and lose the exam chance.
5. If the testing page shows in the login status due to network reasons, please refresh the testing page or re-open the
testing links to try again.
6. In case of network interruption, closing the testing page by mistake or abnormal exit in the exam, you can click the
testing links again within the exam time to continue answering questions.
7. It is forbidden to copy and disseminate the content of the testing paper.
8. Each exam can only be taken for one time. Please reserve enough time in advance.
9. As soon as the exam time is over, the exam system will submit your answers automatically. Please pay attention to
the remaining time.

Step 1: Open your mailbox and the

email from ISSP, copy the full exam
links in the email to the address bar of
Google Chrome, then press Enter to
open the exam system.

Step 2: In the pop-up webpage, Click EN to switch the exam system to English
version.

Step 3: Click Confirm participation to confirm your participation of ISSP Examination.

then click Login exam to enter into the exam.

Step 4: Enter your personal information. (Note: * field is required.)

Step 5: Click Turn on camera and then click Take photo to do

If the face recognition failed, you can click Skip to skip this step or click Take photo again to

Step 6: Read the Exam Notice and click Agree and enter the examination.

Step 7: In the exam DIRECTORY, click Start answering button to answer the questions of
each type.

In each directory, you can click Previous/Next button to answer questions of each directory. To answer the questions of other
directories, you can click Back to paper catalogue and click the corresponding Start answering button, or click the questions on
the right side to answer them. Please click Submit the above directory after completing all questions.

Step 8: After completing all questions and confirm the answers, you can click Submit Paper
on the DIRECTORY page and click Confirm in the pop-up window to submit the exam
paper.

Please note that you can’t change your answers or do any other operations after submitting the exam
paper, so double-check that you want to confirm the exam paper, if yes, click Confirm for submission.
The system will prompt you “Submitted successfully!”, and you can click Close page to end the exam.
PART 4 FAQs for Online Exam

Q1: Whether I must open the exam links with Google Chrome browser?

A1: Yes, you must use Google Chrome with version 73 or above to open the exam links and answer the exam paper.

Q2: I didn’t receive the exam links emails. Why?

A2: The exam links emails can be sent to you within 1 hour. If you didn’t receive the exam links, please confirm whether you
provide the correct email addresses. The incorrect email address problems include uppercase letters in the email address,
without @, lack of some letters, etc.

Q3: I received the exam links, but couldn’t open it and access to the exam paper. Why?

A3: Please confirm you copied the complete exam links in the email to the address bar of Google Chrome. If you copied the
wrong the exam links, you will not access to the exam paper.

Q4: I opened the exam links and started answering the questions, but the exam paper is submitted automatically. Why?

A4: The exam is set up the answering time (e.g. 120 minutes) and anti-cheating settings (e.g. forbid to switch to other web pages,
do copy and paste operation). If your answering time was over or did copy/paste operation and exceeded the specified times, the
exam paper will be submitted automatically.

For other situations (e.g. unstable network, sudden shutdowns of computer, browser crash), students can re-open the exam links
and continue answering the questions.
PART 4 FAQs for Online Exam

Q5: I opened the exam links, but could not start answer the questions. Why?

A5: You only can answer the questions during the specified exam duration. If you were late for the exam or the exam has not
started, you are not allowed to answer the questions.

Q6: I opened the exam links, but the webpage is displayed in Chinese.

A6: The display language is consistent with students’ browser language. If the webpage is not displayed in English, please click
EN to switch to the English webpage.

Q7: Facial recognition failed.

① Please make sure other persons don’t appear within your video range except yourself, and adjust the brightness of the
environment and the angle of taking photo.

② Check whether the network is good and stable.

③ If the problem was still unsolved, please change a computer or browser to try again.

If the camera still cannot be turned on, it may be a compatibility problem. It is recommended to download computer system or
browser patches, or change a computer or camera directly.
PART 4 FAQs for Online Exam

Q8: I am unable to turn on the camera on my computer.

A8: Please check whether:

① the permission of the camera on your computer is turned on;

② your browser allows the use of camera. If not, please open the permission;

③ there are anti-virus software preventing your browser from using camera;

④ the camera driver works well. If not, please install or re-install it;

⑤ the camera is intact. If not, please replace it.

Q9:Can I quit the testing page or copy answers from other webpages?

A9: The exam doesn’t allow the examinee to quit the testing page and copy/paste answers from other webpages. If you did these
operations, the testing system will record your operation and remind you of the potential risks. If your copy/paste operation
exceeds the specified times, your paper will be submitted automatically and the exam ends in advance. To avoid the wrong
operation by mistake, it is recommended to close all chat software or pages such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Wechat and
others, and the ads that may pop up automatically.
