Timescale of phase-out process
Note: The packages SPC200/P01; P02; P04; P05 and all manuals and WINPISA will be phased-out end of 2015.
• Manuals and WinPisa will be still available via the support portal.
• The packages can be assembled with the single devices
A. If the customer uses Profibus or DeviceNet he needs the PLC programmer to adapt the program
to the CMAX interfacing. An experienced programmer needs 1 ½ day for the electric and
mechanical replacement.
B. If the customer uses the SPC200 with IO interfacing and only simple move commands with only
some view lines in the used SPC200 program, a CPX-Terminal with a CoDeSys PLC and one IO
module together with the CMAX module can replace the present SPC200 application. An
experienced programmer needs 2..3 days + ½ day for the electric and mechanical replacement.
C. If the customer uses the SPC200 with IO interfacing and the full range of PLC functionality of
the SPC200, there is no way using a CoDeSys controller together with one or two 8 IO modules
to replace the SPC200. An experienced programmer needs minimum 3..4 days and 1day for the
electrical and mechanical replacement.
