Purpose : To amuse or entertain the readers with actual or
imaginary experiences in difference ways. Narratives always deal with some problems which lead to the climax and then turn into a solution to the problem. .Text Organization : - Orientation (who were involved in the Generic Structure
story, when, what and where)
- Complication (a crisis / problem arises followed by other problems) - Resolution (solution to the problem) Language Feature Language Features : The use of nouns phrase (a beautiful princess, a huge temple etc.) The use of action verbs (went, spent , played, came, etc.) The use of Simple Past Tense (He went to … , They didn’t go, etc) The use of conjunctions / connectives (first, and ,before that, after that, then, finally, etc. ) The use of adverbs and adjectives (in my house , slowly, two days ago, beautiful, funny, brave, etc. ) The use of saying verbs (say, tell, ask etc.) The use of thinking verbs, feeling verbs, verbs of senses (She felt hungry, smelt something burning ) CINDERELLA READ THE TEXT ! Once upon a time there was a beautiful girl called Cinderella. She was a kind hearted and diligent girl. She lived with her step mother and 2 step sisters. They were very bossy. She had to do all the house works. One day an invitation to the castle came to her family. Her step sister did not let her go, so Cinderella was very sad. The step sisters went to the ball without her. Fortunately, the fairy godmother came and helped her to get to the castle. Cinderella danced with the prince. The prince fell in love with her then married her. They lived happily ever after. Read the text and answer the question !
