1
INTRODUCTION
The sudden outbreak of the Covid 19 pandemic caused a severe damage in our country. Endangering
the public health and security,the government declared Philippines under the state of calamity. The
government implemented laws and made a strategy to deal with the growing problems. Despite all, this the
country'seconomy was still badly affected and a lot of citizens lost their job. The job displacement of the
citizens became one of growing problems during pandemic. Inorder to resolve this problem, the
Department of Labor and Employment issued the Department order No. 219 or the Guidelineson the
Implementation of Tulong Panghanapbuhay para sa Disadvantage /Displaced worker workers (TUPAD)
Under the Bayanihan to Recover as One Act. The researchers chose this study to determine if the TUPAD
program was properly implemented. The researchers also wanted to know and understand the scope of
TUPAD program and how it benefits the displaced workers in our society.

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
This study aimed to identify the impact survey of TUPAD intervention program in the Barangay Marifosque Pilar
Sorsogon on year of 2022:2023.

The research must seek the answer these following questions:

1. What is the profile of the respondent in terms of:

1.1. age
1.2. gender
1.3. Educational status

2. What are the benefits of Tupad program in each aspects?

a. Economic
b. Social
c. Skills Development

3. What are the purposes of Tupad program?

RESEARCH DESIGN
The researchers would use descriptive design because the study would confine itself by conducting a survey to
provide questionnaires to selected TUPAD Members. This design would able the researcher to gather the data
necessary for the study. In this study, the information collected would give the researcher the overview on what are
qualifications of the beneficiaries for the Tulong Panghanap buhay sa ating Displaced Workers Program(TUPAD),
alternative jobs through the TUPAD Program, and the LGU’s control system for displaced workers

RESPONDENTS PARTICIPANTS
The population of the study defines to include the TUPAD Members of Marifosque Pilar Sorsogon. The study
made use of these displaced workers as their respondents because the researcher wanted to know what their
struggles are and how it could relate to their academic performance. A Stratified Convenience Sampling procedure
is used for selecting the participants in the study. This technique employed to ensure that the researcher do not force
their respondents instead the respondents, without hesitation, volunteered to be the participants. The target sample
of the population of the study is twentyfive (25) respondents
RESEARCH
INSTRUMENT
The instrument used was survey questionnaire made by the researchers to gather the
needed information and data of the TUPAD Members. The muster of the researchers
reading, previous studies, professional literature and unpublished research to this study. In
the preparation of the instrument. The essential in the designing of good data collection
instruments were observed. For suggestion, statement describing the situations or issues
related was coordinate to accommodate the knowledge preparedness of the respondents.
STATISTICAL
TREATMENT
The researchers used the following statistical treatment in analyzing and interpreting data

1. To determine the profile of the Respondents in terms of the Age, Gender Identity and Educational status
was used.

2. To determine the benefits of Tupad program in each aspects? Economic, Social and Skills Development.

3. To determine the purposes of Tupad program

This chapter contains the presentation, analysis and interpretation of data obtained in the study. These are
presented in tables and figures.

SUMMARY OF FINDINGS

a. 11 out of 25 respondents or 44% are 26-35 years old.
b. 14 out of respondents or 56% are female gender is the highest percentages with 56%.
c. 19 out of 25 Respondents or 76% are high school graduate with a percentages of 76%

a. "To repair or maintenance of roads and drainage" is the benefits of TUPAD program to the economy that has the
highest weighted mean of 2.88 with a verbal interpretation of agree.
b. The result of the gathered data revealed that "To improve the common public facilities and infrastructure such as
school & health centers" is the benefits of TUPAD program to social that has the highest weighted mean of 2.64 with a
verbal interpretation of agree.
c. "To improve your skill by having teamwork" is the benefits of TUPAD program to the skill development that has
weighted mean of 2.84 with a verbal interpretation of agree.

The result of the gathered data revealed that "Disaster preparedness" is one of the purpose of TUPAD program that has
the highest weighted mean of 3.52 with a verbal interpretation of very effective.
CONCLUSIO
NS
Based on the findings presented, it is concluded that the majority of
tupad members in barangay marifosque aged 26 to 25 years old with
female gender, is the highest number of respondents. The majority of
tupad members are high school graduate. To repair or maintenance of
roads and drainage is the benefits of tupad program to the economy. To
improve the common public facilities and infrastructure such as school
& health centers. To improve your skill by heaving teamwork. Disaster
preparedness is one of the purpose of TUPAD program
RECOMMENDATIO
NS
1.The residents may inquire for the other benefits gained under TUPAD program.

2. The residents may attend the seminars conducted by the local government for the dissemination of

information regarding the TUPAD program.

3. The residents may ask the barangay officials for the clarifications and additional information regarding

the implementation of TUPAD program.

4. The government may ensure the proper implementation of the TUPAD program on their respective

area.

5. The barangay officials may have a profile of the residents for fairer selecting TUPAD beneficiaries.
