    Morning Prayer

    Opening Song

    As the Deer
    P : In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and
    of the Holy Spirit.
    U : Amen.
    P : The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the
    love of God, and the communion of the Holy
    Spirit be with us. 
    U : Now and forever.
    Heavenly Father, we thank You for all Your goodness and
    Your grace. We praise you for everything you have given
    us. Holy Lord, we commit all of our good deeds to you
    and ask that everything we do be done for Your glory. By
    this time we are going to read and hear your Word, so that
    we can understand and do what You want for our
    OPENING salvation. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who
    PRAYER lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
    One God, forever and ever.
    Amen..

    REFLECTION
    Dear sister and teachers…
    A choice has a specific purpose. In each choice, there are goals and expectations so that what is
    desired can be achieved. Jesus called people whom He wanted to be disciples. From these people
    Jesus appointed 12 people as His apostles. Those who were chosen He gave the power to
    proclaim the Good News. In the end, the choice needs to be proven whether the goal desired by
    Jesus is achieved or not. Jesus calls whom He wills. He does not limit his choices to certain
    groups. Everyone has the same opportunity. Those who are called need to respond by coming to
    Him. This shows the seriousness in responding to His call. Every serious person must answer
    God's call to serve and draw closer to Him. Of the many people who came, Jesus had to make His
    choice. Indeed, many were called, but not all were chosen. Jesus had a special purpose for His
    disciples, namely to reveal the will of the heavenly Father. One sign is to cast out the power of the
    devil. Therefore, His elect are equipped with the power of God. That choice will continue to be
    proven by His disciples as time goes on. Let us always be grateful because until now God has
    kept faith and faithfulness to Christ. Prove to the world that as His chosen people, we can keep
    preaching the news of salvation in Christ to others. Do not let us be careless and neglect to
    complete the obligations that God has given to our shoulders. Remember too that God has chosen
    us!
    P : Let us pray with confidence to the Father in the words our Savior gave us,
    U : Our Father, who art in heaven hallowed be Thy name.
    Thy kingdom come;
    Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.
    Give us this day our daily bread;
    and forgive us our trespasses,
    as we forgive those who trespass against us.
    And lead us not into temptation;
    but deliver us from evil.
    Amen…
    P : The Lord be with us.
    U : Now and forever.

    BLESSING P : May almighty God bless us: the Father, and the Son,
    and the Holy Spirit.
