INTRODUCTION:

 Coco cola is a largest soft drink manufacturing company in the world .


 Coco cola is currently offers more than 3500 product in more than 200 country.
 They daily average serving is to 1.9 billion people.
 3.1% of all beverages consumed around world is Coco cola product’s.
HISTORY:

 Coco cola was invented in 1886 by pharmacist JOHN STITH PEMBERTON in


Columbus Georgia.
 The Coco cola formula and brand was brought in 1889 by Asa Candler.

 Who incorporated the coco cola company in 1892.


 The bottling business of the company helped it to expand to other regions in the
US .

 Coca cola is the No.1 brand in sparkling beverages, juice, and retail packaged
water in 2010. Coca cola has its market presence around 200 countries. There are
many brands in India like, Fanta, Maaza, Limca, sprite, Thumps up, Minute Maid,
Nimbu fresh, Nested iced tea etc.

PRICE:
 Due to the availability of wide range products the pricing is done according to the
market and geographical segment. Each sub-brand of Coca-Cola has different
pricing strategy of each one.
PLACE:
 Coca cola is the world's most favourite brand and There are available all over the
world. The distribution system of coca cola follows the FMCG(Fast-moving consumer
goods) distribution pattern, In India they have captured even the rural market by
extensive distribution. Its products can be found in practically every retail shop and
supermarket. Coca cola products are sold at 2.5 million stores in india .

PROMOTION:
 Coca cola adopts various advertising and promotional strategies to create an
increased demand in to the market by associating with life style and behaviour and
mainly targeting value based advertising. Coca Cola's promotion strategy focuses on
aggressive marketing through ad campaigns using media channels such as
television, online commercials, social media, print media, sponsorships, and so on.
Coca-Cola sponsors important events such as American Idol, BET Network,
NASCAR, NBA, NCAA, Olympic Games, FIFA World Cup, among others.

Findings:-
 1. The most popular product in Market is "Coca-Cola".
 2. Coca-Cola is market leader and Pepsi is the market challenger in the Market.
 3. From the Coca-Cola products Thumps Up and from the Pepsi products Dew is
the highest selling in the market.Mountain.
 4. Coca-Cola is the market leader in overall market.
 5. In the case of the Mineral water Aquafina (Pepsi products) is selling more than
the Kinely (Coca-Cola products) because of competitiveness of price.
 6. I have found that a retailer gives more preference to the Coca-Cola products like
Thums up, sprite, Fanta etc, because of high demand.
 7. In the case of the scheme Pepsi is providing better schemes than the Coca-Cola.
 8. Sales have increased after locating VISI cooler at the prime position of the
outlet.
Suggestions:-
I can give the following suggestion that can be implemented to increase the customer
satisfaction and the profitability of the company.

 1. Supply distribution should be improved in seas like in Rural areas in summer.


 2. The salesmen should be trained and to be Courteous with the retailer.
 3. It should deepen the partnership arrangement with suppliers and distributors
and make them feel as a part of the company.
 4. More emphasis should be given in retaining and building loyalty among
retailers while at the same time new retailers should be encouraged to sell COKE.
 5. The company should work out on their complaints regarding to VISI cooler.
 6. Company should give proper scheme to the Retailers.
 7. Overall services should be improved for getting more sales and to be the
market leader.
Conclusion:-

 COCA COLA in India is one of the reputed companies amongst various cold
drink Industry, COCA COLA is having different product with its product line.
 COCA COLA has acquired a big share of market in Country because of its
competitive pricing, distribution system and through good customer relation.
 COCA COLA is also having different competitors. In Country there are very
limited competitors of COCA COLA like PEPSI CO, RC cola, PARLE etc.
 Despite of all the strength and weakness it is also having some threats it is also
having Opportunity still to grow more and compete with its competitors.
 Over all Coca-cola is a very good company and one of the leading and growing
companies in Country.
